Creation Story

inspired by Medicine for the Earth

There was no He or She

or It or form. 

There was only Light. 

Within that Light

there was a point of contrast. 

A point of desire. 

A point of connection

that the Light surrounded.

And the Light loved.

The Light loved to surround 

this very precise point.

The point and the Light 

began to dance together.

Then suddenly, 

the point birthed

a myriad of points

that began to fall and multiply

and become the Cosmos, 

full of dark and light.

Forms took shape

from the darkness

and water settled 

in the forms.

Water and Light began to grow

and all things began 

to grow and have Life.

Grow and have life.

A Great Cycle began.

The Cycle of Life.

With multitudes of things 

changing between dark and light,

becoming conscious 

ever more of the cycles.

As consciousness grew 

and explored itself,

it became aware

of Love.
