Reasons for Flying

How shall I explain
my need for flight?

Simply because I have wings.

My spirit is sinking.

I long for the sun.

To play among the clouds.

Stretching toward freedom.

I am a creature of flight,
seeking a broader destiny
than your earthbound words.
